Highlight any text on any webpage. A small tooltip will appear with two buttons — Speak to hear the text read aloud, and ClarifAI to get an AI-generated explanation spoken back to you.
Text-to-speech works without an account. AI explanations require signing in with Google so we can track your daily usage on the free plan and verify Premium subscriptions.
Free users get 10 AI explanations per day. Text-to-speech is unlimited on all plans. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited AI explanations.
Click the extension icon in Chrome, then click Upgrade to Premium. You can also go to clarif-ai.app/checkout. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
You can cancel anytime. Email us at support@clarif-ai.app and we'll cancel your subscription immediately. You'll retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Try refreshing the page — the extension needs to inject into pages after it's installed or updated. If the tooltip still doesn't appear, go to chrome://extensions, find ClarifAI, and click the reload icon, then refresh your tab.
Make sure you're signed in — click the extension icon to check. If you're on the free plan, you may have reached the 10 explanation daily limit. Try again tomorrow or upgrade to Premium for unlimited access.
Yes. We do not collect your browsing history or track which websites you visit. Highlighted text is sent to our backend only to generate an explanation and is not stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
