Payment information: If you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles all payment data securely.

Text you highlight: When you use the AI explanation feature, the selected text is sent to our backend and processed by Google Gemini AI to generate an explanation. We do not permanently store the text you highlight.

• We do not collect your browsing history.

• We do not store text you use with the text-to-speech feature.

Your account data (email, subscription status, usage count) is stored in Google Firestore, which is hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, contact us at support@clarif-ai.app and we will process your request within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

ClarifAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
